We help startups and companies build a business in the space SECTOR
When Apollo 11 landed on the Moon, many believed the space race had come to an end - but in reality, it was just the beginning. Today, space is no longer only about exploration. It’s also about economic opportunity and solving global challenges.
The commercial space sector is growing rapidly, as governments, space agencies, and private companies around the world are investing in space-based technologies and services. By 2035, the global space economy is expected to reach $1.8 trillion and impact almost every other industry on earth (McKinsey, 2024).
That’s why the project Space Ventures DK was created to fulfill a special mission. A mission to secure that Denmark is at the forefront of this new frontier, driving economic growth, strengthening national security, and unlocking groundbreaking technological innovations that can benefit life on earth.
In collaboration with the European Space Agency, we support Danish startups and established companies through the ESA Business Incubation Centre and ESA Technology Broker programme. Our aim is to help more Danish businesses on their ventures into the space economy, transforming cutting-edge space technology into tangible benefits for both space & Earth.
